Server addresses
Both SMP and Skyblock support Java and Bedrock crossplay through the Geyser plugin.

The modded/FTB server is Java only — Bedrock players can't join it.
Adding the server on Bedrock
Mobile and PC Bedrock
- Open Minecraft.
- Go to Servers in the main menu.
- Scroll to the bottom and tap/click Add Server.
- Enter:
- Server name: Sunrise SMP (or whatever you like)
- Server address:

19132
- Save and join.
Xbox, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch
Consoles don't allow custom server IPs natively. The community workaround is BedrockConnect, which redirects through your network's DNS to make custom servers selectable from the in-game Featured Servers list.
This is more involved than mobile/PC and isn't officially supported by Sunrise — search for "BedrockConnect setup" if you want to try it. Otherwise, the easiest path is to play from a phone, tablet, or Bedrock on Windows.
Crossplay basics
Java and Bedrock players share the same world, chat, economy, and claims. You can build together, trade, and play minigames — there's no separation.
A few things to know:
- Bedrock usernames get a
.prefix (e.g.,.YourName). - That prefix matters for voting — when you enter your username on a vote site, include the dot.
- You can link Java and Bedrock accounts with
/linkaccountso balance and claims follow you between devices.
Known Bedrock limitations
These are quirks of running Bedrock through Geyser, not bugs in your client:
- Simple Voice Chat is Java-only. Proximity voice chat is unsupported on Bedrock.
- Boats and horses can be unreliable. Vehicle movement is a known Geyser issue.
- Crafting can be buggy. If items disappear during a craft, contact staff for replacement.
- HeadDB heads don't show their skin until placed in the world.
- Use Java redstone designs. The server runs on Java, so Bedrock-style redstone won't behave as expected.
- Mobile keyboard quirks. Some chat formatting characters can be awkward on phones.
"Outdated Geyser proxy" error
This error appears when a new Bedrock client version ships before the server's Geyser plugin updates to support it. It's usually fixed within a day — post in #help on Discord and it'll get bumped.
Troubleshooting
Can't connect at all. Double-check the address and port. 19132 is the default Bedrock port — if you typed a different one (like 25565, the Java port), it won't work.
Black screen on join. You may have logged out somewhere problematic. Have staff jail you to teleport you out, then try restarting your game and clearing the resource pack cache.
Anti-cheat kicks me near crates or spawn. Run around immediately after rejoining to "ground" your position. If it loops, ask staff to jail and release you — that resets your position.
My purchase didn't arrive. Plugin updates occasionally break delivery. Report it in #help with your username and what you bought, and staff can grant the missing items.
