The two best places to ask
For almost any issue, one of these two channels is where you'll get the fastest response:
- In-game. Message a staff member directly with
/msg <staffname> <message>. Staff are listed at /staff. #helpon Discord. Best for issues that span sessions (missing rewards, account problems, bugs). Staff watch this channel actively.
For urgent issues — harassment, theft, exploits, anything time-sensitive — Discord #help typically gets the fastest response since staff who aren't currently in-game still see notifications.
What to include in a report
The more of this you include, the faster you get help:
- Your username (with the
.prefix if you're on Bedrock) - The server (SMP, Skyblock, FTB)
- What happened, in plain language
- When it happened — even "10 minutes ago" is enough
- Screenshots if relevant — for theft, griefing, or display bugs
Don't worry about being concise — being specific is more useful than being short.
Common issues and where to send them
"Someone stole from my chests"
Message staff right away. Use /lockclaim immediately to prevent further theft, and check who you've trusted with /trustlist. Stolen items can sometimes be recovered if reported quickly.
"I voted but didn't get my key"
Post in #help with your username and which sites you voted on. PlanetMinecraft occasionally drops votes — staff can grant the missing key manually.
"I bought something from /shop but didn't receive it"
Plugin updates occasionally break item delivery. Report in #help with your username and what you purchased — staff can verify and grant missing items.
"I'm stuck in an anti-cheat kick loop"
This usually happens after logging out near crates, spawn, or in laggy moments. Ask staff to jail and release you — that resets your position and clears the loop.
"My screen goes black when I try to join"
You may have logged out somewhere problematic. Have staff jail you to teleport you elsewhere, then try restarting your client and clearing your resource pack cache.
"Someone is harassing me in chat"
Use /ignore <player> to hide their messages immediately. Then report the harassment to staff — keep screenshots. See /rules for the full chat policy.
"Someone asked for my personal information"
Report this immediately, regardless of what they said. The privacy and safety rules apply on and off the server, and violations can result in a permanent ban — protecting younger players is one of the server's top priorities. See the Privacy and Safety rules at /rules.
Applying for staff
If you want to help moderate the community, run /apply in-game to start the application process. Expectations:
- Answer support questions helpfully and accurately
- Be respectful in chat at all times
- Don't give free items to new players — it skews the economy
What's NOT urgent
These are real issues but generally don't need an immediate staff ping:
- Lag during pregeneration, restarts, or peak hours
- Vehicles being weird on Bedrock (known Geyser limitation)
- Bedrock crafting glitches (also Geyser)
Mention them in #help when convenient — staff track them but they're known compatibility issues, not bugs you need staff to chase down.
