Getting Started
Follow these steps to connect to the modded server.

Download the FTB App or CurseForge
Get the official Feed The Beast launcher or CurseForge to manage modpacks.

Install FTB Evolution
Search for 'FTB Evolution' and install it (version 1.30.3). No extra mods needed — every customization is server-side.

Launch the modpack
Start Minecraft through your launcher with the Evolution profile.

Connect to the server
Add the server address: ftb.sunrisemc.fun
Server Features
What makes this server more than the base modpack.
Land Claims & Anti-Grief
Claim your land with FTB Chunks — claimed areas are protected from griefing and explosions. Large "nuke" explosions are neutralized out in the world, and the Infinity Nuke is disabled.
Keep Inventory
Keep your items on death — enabled everywhere, including modded dimensions.
Random Teleport
/rtp (or /wild) drops you into the wilderness, 500–25,000 blocks out, with a ~10-minute cooldown.
Homes & Warps
Set homes with /sethome, return with /home, /back, or /spawn. You start with 3 homes and unlock more as you gain playtime tenure — up to 8.
Playtime Ranks
Earn tenure ranks (Newcomer → Regular → Veteran → Elite → Legend) just by playing — each adds a chat prefix plus scaling perks: up to 8 homes, up to 50 force-loaded chunks, and /rtp cooldowns as short as 2 minutes.
Survival Ruleset
Hard difficulty, PvP enabled.
Discord Chat Bridge
In-game chat is mirrored to and from our Discord — messages, joins/leaves, and server start/stop all relay both ways, and /discord grabs the invite. No account linking required to chat.
Java Only
This is a modded server and only supports Java Edition. Bedrock players cannot connect. The server requires the exact modpack version to join.
